Welcome to our website - updated to include our 2008 range - we hope that you find plenty to tempt you! There are a lot of different entries to the listings, not all of them are new, but all have something special!. We look forward to seeing you at the nursery!

The family started growing fuchsias in 1963 after my late Father admired plants growing in a neighbour's front garden, he was given four cuttings which all rooted and grew and the rest as they say is history. Gradually we had more and yet more fuchsias all in a small suburban back garden.

We moved to Little Brook in 1979 with the aim of starting a fuchsia nursery on his retirement, sadly he never got the chance. I opened the nursery on March 1st 1986 with 6" of snow on the ground! We are now known not only in the UK but have had visitors from USA, Australia, NZ, Sweden, France etc, etc.

We have close links to the British Fuchsia Society - I am presently the Assistant Secretary - and can be contacted regarding further details of the society.

We are also members of the Guildford Fuchsia Group.

The nursery has been featured on BBC Gardeners World, as well as in local and national papers. (Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Express).

We also have over an acre of garden with shrubs, perennials and conifers and of course lots and lots of fuchsias both planted in the garden as well as in pots and hanging baskets etc.

Regretfully we do not supply mail order.

We do not sell cuttings, all our plants are rooted and then moved onto a 7cm pot to establish. In January and February these plants will be available at £1 each. From the end of February onwards they will be £1.25 each. Please ask regarding discounts on large purchases of over 50 plants.

Whips will be sold from January. Standards and fuchsia baskets will be ready from May 3rd. Prices throughout will depend on size. Larger plants may be available throughout the season - please ask.

From May 31st until June 29th 2008 - there will be displays of fuchsias in flower - please come and have a browse and get ideas for next year. It is an unbeatable opportunity to see fuchsias that you will not see at shows etc.

It is always possible that cultivars not shown in the catalogue will be held on the nursery, please ask!

There are a number of places to visit in the area - RHS Gardens Wisley, Birdworld, Rural Life Centre at Tilford, Clandon Park (NT), Winkworth Arboretum (NT). There are several large Garden Centres within 5 miles. If you would like to know more about any of these places, please ask.

DEMPSEY the dog is now 7 and middle aged! He enjoys life on the nursery but does like a rest as well - if he is resting please ignore him!
